Paul Wissel is President of Basketball World. As President of Basketball World, Paul oversees the day to day operation of the company’s basketball camps and SHOOT IT BETTER Mini Camps, DVD production and website (www.basketballworld.com).

Paul organizes and conducts Basketball World Day Camps and tours worldwide as a shooting instructor for Shoot It Better Mini Camps.  Paul acts as Executive Producer for all DVDs produced by Basketball World, including the best selling Dr. Hal Wissel: Basketball Shooting 5-DVD series.  An outstanding shooter, Paul demonstrates shooting drills in all of Basketball World’s DVDs and is also featured on their covers.

Paul is presently an advance scout for the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. As an advance scout, Paul is responsible for scouting upcoming opponents. Working closely with the team’s coaching staff, Paul advises the coaches on opposing team's offensive/defensive tendencies, play calls and personnel. His scouting reports are a vital tool for the coaching staff as they prepare a game plan for each opponent.

Paul's scouting experience includes over 15 years of being an NBA advance scout. In addition to scouting for the Raptors, Pauls as also been an advance scout for the Seattle Supersonics, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks.

Paul is also a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). He works as basketball technical advisor and sports consultant for film and television.

Paul played at Lafayette College and graduated in 1994 with Economics and Business degree.
